Dear Parents,

 

SOUPLANTATION FUNDRAISER:
This Wednesday, April 17th The Storm will be hosting a fundraiser event at Souplantation located at the Valencia Town Center. Come on out between 5-8:00pm to help support The Storm. 15% of proceeds go back to the track club. Please be sure to bring a copy of the flyer!

 

 

This weeks meet is called the VYC Invitational Meet - All 2000 athletes in the conference are invited to this 2 day meet. Please Download the meet flyer for schedule of when the events are taking place. It is located at Pete Knight High School in Palmdale.

 

Lap-a-thon - You can still turn in your raised funds to get a pump mister at practice, see Tom O'Sullivan

MENCHIES FROZEN YOGURT:
Wednesday, May 22nd from 11am-10pm at Menchies Frozen Yogurt in the Valencia Town Center. Perfect for an afterschool snack or after dinner treat! 15% of proceeds go back to the club. Be sure to download the attached flyer and bring to the event.
 
Jelly Beans
Jelly BeansWe need Jelly Beans We have plenty Jolly Ranchers, so please no more Jolly Ranchers. .
If you have not yet donated 2 bags of Jelly Beans our supply is running low please bring some in at this time.
 
Track Meet
Our next track meet is called the Conference Invitational Meet. This is the largest meet we will do this year, with every athlete in the conference invited to compete.
Click here to download the Invitational Meet Schedule so athletes can figure out which days their events are on.

 

Medals are awarded at the meet to the Top 3 finishers at the meet, with all others getting their ribbons at practice.

 

This meet is pre-seeded so you must let your coaches know ASAP what event your child will be doing. This meet is optional and will be a very long day, NO PARENTS ALLOWED ON THE FIELD. This will be an extremely competitive meet.

 

Your child is limited to 2 individual events and a relay, or 2 relays & 1 individual event. Intermediates and the Young Division may compete in 3 Individual Events.

 

ATHLETES WHO OVER EVENT WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM ALL THEIR EVENTS AT THE MEET.
