Dear Storm Family,

 

Congratulations to all of the athletes who competed this past weekend in their final championship meet of the season. We will see you next at the Awards Picnic at Newhall park on May 18th. More information will come on that next week.

 

League Championship Meet (May 10th)
All Intermediate and Young Men Athletes plus all athletes seeded into this weekends are the only athletes invited to the Western League Championship meet to be held on May 10th at Simi Valley High School.

 
Individual Event Championship Meet (May 17th)
This is the final event of the year at the conference level. The top four (4) finishers in each event from both leagues (East & West) and the next marks will be invited to compete in this Conference wide Championship meet to be held this year at Valley College on May 17.

 
This is a 10 lane track, so in the sprint events we will advance up to 10 athletes. The top 4 guaranteed advancement from each league, then the next fastest times of the 2 league meets.

 
The distance events advance 12 athletes, and the field events 9.

 
All advancements to this meet come from the meet on the 10th there are no pass-through athletes, you must attend the meet on May 10th.

 

This is the best of the Conference championship meet.

Practice Schedule May 5 - May 11th
May 5  6:00 - 7:45 pm Saugus HS on the Track
May 6  6:00 - 7:45 pm Valencia HS on the Track
May 8  6:00 - 7:45 pm Valencia  HS on the Track

 
May 10    8:00 am - 3:30 pm Away Track Meet at Simi Valley High School.
 
Menchie's Fundraiser  
This week on Tuesday and Wednesday we will be hosting our final fund raiser of the year at Menchie's Frozen Yogurt, located in the Valencia Town Center Shopping Mall next to Lazy Dog.

 
 
Coaches Thank You Dinner

In Lieu of gifts for your coaches we ask that you donate to the coaches thank you dinner. Please see Thomas O'Sullivan to make a donation. The thank you dinner is planned for early to mid June.
